We had an amazing time this last weekend at the Dewey Beach, DE High Tide Jam Festival at the Rusty Rudder. There were some very good bands (8 ohms Band, Bearquarium,etc) and the club is right on the beach so the vibe was nice. This week we have a great show at the Patchogue Theatre on Long Island, this is a very upscale venue to see music, so we shall be funkin’ it right up. Lots of shows coming up check em out. This week was a great week of shows for NYFE. We did Brooklyn Bowl on Monday, Rhode island on Thursday, Long Island on Friday, Then Back up to New England for Worcester Ma on Sat. This weekend also marked our 100th show YEAH!!! Now it’s time to get our new set ready for our Sullivan Hall Headlining show on April 22nd, please come support this show in NYC, we can definitely use you help. Sullivan Hall

Happy New year Funkateers. We are glad to be back from the holidays and working on music again. So far 2010 is shaping up nicely. We have a brand new set of music for the live show and We will be filming for fearless music Jan 12th and it should be airing Jan 15th @ 11:55pm on Fox. It been A wild 2009…We have played every weekend since the album came out in July. Now the Winter and the holidays are coming in so we are taking a month off to write and practice. Our last gig is Dec 5th @ THE RED SQUARE in Burlington Vermont. Then we will be back hittin’ with a new set of tunes January 22nd @ THE STONE CHURCH IN NEW HAMPSHIRE.

Tonight’s show in Port Jefferson (Thurs Aug 6th) has been cancelled due to possible Thunderstorms. Like it doesn’t rain everyday this summer.

NYFE had an awesome weekend. We had our CD release party @ The Dublin Undergroun in Albany NY, and we also played @ The Great South Bay Music Festival in Long Island. The Band got perform before Ryan Montbleau and Galactic. IT WAS A BLAST..Here is a little video from our set.
